The Journey of The Lokust

In the beginning, there was something. Not nothing, or a dark mass of dust and minerals. But, a Conscienceness. It wasn't named. It couldn't be categorized. It simply, existed. It could have been all-knowing. It could have created life as we know it. But, we don't. We may never know how we originated in this universe, even when we die, our questions may not be answered. So, the journey of The Lokust starts with the human mind. The brain is extremely powerful, so powerful, that its raw power must be locked away by limitations. This is where the so-called "origins" begin.

If there is good, there must be evil. that is the natural order. ying and yang. light and dark. These limitations are here, though they are only interpreted by the minds who use them. If you believe this theory, then everything you've ever learned could be wrong. But you don't know, so you follow what society tells you to. And in the end, tragedy happens, happiness occurs, and death is inevitable. This is where the story starts, in the unknown, the dark, in shadows. The fight between The Lokust, and The Sparrow.

At the start of time, all is/was lost. There are no records, nothing but what one person wrote in a supposed "good book" But, there was good and evil. Which brings us to the physical manefestations of both. In each time period, the representation of both changes, one becomes good, while the other becomes evil. When knowledge and theory were born, So was the Lokust. When happiness and pride was born, so was the Sparrow. No one is sure which came first, or which one is best. Some tried to mix both, and failed miserably.

If you are a Lokust, you believe that knowledge is key to success. Gut feelings are key, as major scientific events often are products of sheer guts, will power and theory. Lokusts believe that there is something out there, but choose to not acknowledge it, or even hate it. Why? Mainly because if it can't be rationalized, why bother with it. If it is unknown, then its probably not worth it. In the end, one would associate Lokusts with sinners and athiests. No one knows why, it just depends on the stereotypes of the time.

If you are a Sparrow, then you are an person who needs instant gratification and contant motion in your life. How people feel about you, and the relationships you hold are key to winning at life. Material possessions make up the person you are, you are defined by the money you have. Mainly because you can't be defined any other way. Sparrow's are very prideful beings. If you manage to "bring one down a notch" the consequences can, and most likely will be severe. Sparrows have great knowledge of the world, and how things work, but don't use it, for they fear of being outcasted, and looked down upon. Sparrows are more often influenced by peer pressure.
Most Sparrows are athletes, lawyers, and politicians.

Both the Lokusts and Sparrows are constantly at war. Its not a bloody battle, but it is war nonetheless. Even though they hate each other, they need each other to exist. They give one another purpose and meaning. its up to you to decide whether or not you are a Lokust or a Sparrow. It is also up to you to decide what you think is evil or good. So, ask yourself one question, are you a Lokust, or a Sparrow? think about it.....
